Evenings feel richer when the grill is lit, and the patio fills with conversation. Outdoor cooking turns an ordinary meal into a shared moment worth slowing down for. Grilled Whiskey Chicken brings bold character to your backyard menu with a glaze that balances smoky sweetness and gentle heat.

Whiskey blends with apple jelly, ketchup, and cider vinegar to create a rich sauce that caramelizes beautifully over open flame. Meanwhile, a simple dry rub adds depth without masking the chicken's natural flavor. As the glaze tightens on the grates, each bite delivers savory richness with a subtle kick.

Poblano peppers roast alongside the chicken, developing a soft texture and mild spice that complements the sauce. Their natural smokiness rounds out the dish without overpowering it. Because they carry less heat than jalapeños or habaneros, they support the glaze instead of competing with it. Grilling them whole allows the skins to blister while the flesh turns tender and slightly sweet.

Cooking this recipe outdoors makes the experience even better. American Made Grills are handcrafted in the USA using premium stainless steel and high-density ceramic briquettes for steady, even heat. Built with full domestic manufacturing control, these grills deliver consistent performance and lasting durability. That reliability matters when you're building layers of flavor over live fire.

Grilled Whiskey Chicken proves that a handful of well-balanced ingredients can create something memorable. Fire up your grill, brush on that glaze, and let the aroma draw everyone outside.
