Few desserts strike a balance between simplicity and showstopper, like Grilled Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream. Sweet, ripe peaches take on a richer depth when seared by an open flame—softened just enough to caramelize at the edges, drawing out their natural sugars. Paired with a cold scoop of vanilla ice cream, the contrast of warm, chilled, juicy, and creamy turns a simple ingredient list into something unforgettable.

Perfect for Mother’s Day or any outdoor celebration, this dish looks elegant without the hassle. The grill handles the hard part—no oven, no stress—just clean, beautiful flavor layered with char, texture, and sweetness. It’s a dessert that feels like summer, even if the sun’s starting to set.

Whether you’re hosting a backyard brunch or closing out a family cookout, this recipe leaves a lasting impression. The peaches soften into syrupy perfection while their skins gain a gentle char. Scoop the ice cream right on top, and let the moment melt together.

On an American Made Grill, this dish becomes more than just dessert—it's a reminder of how simple things, done right, make the most surprising impact. Handcrafted here in the U.S.A., our grills bring people together through food worth gathering for. And this is one of those recipes that proves it.

Serves 8

Grilled Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream

  • 2 ripe peaches
  • 2 ripe nectarines
  • canola oil
  • 8 large scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • Honey and sea salt for finishing

Grilled Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream

  1. Heat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the peach and nectarine halves with a touch of oil, place on the grill for a few minutes, and then rotate 90 degrees to continue to cook for about 3-4 minutes. Total grill marks appear, and the fruit starts to caramelize.
  3. Remove from the grill with a pair of tongs and serve with a scoop of ice cream in the center of the fruit. Drizzle with honey and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.

Notes: Select peaches that are just ripe, so they are juicy and delicious but firm enough to stand up to grilling.
